Rita Teed volunteer gardener, has been awarded the Hospice UK Volunteer Gardener of the Year Award. The award recognises the significant contribution an individual has made to hospice care over a number of years.
Rita has generously given her time and provided exceptional service for many years. Whether weeding the flowerbeds, or tending to the Japanese Gardens, Rita works hard to keep the award winning gardens in tip-top condition, whatever the season.
Rita shows no signs of slowing down and turns up for duty at the Hospice come rain or shine.
This summer Rita and fellow volunteers worked tirelessly in preparing the gardens for Willowbrook’s first ever Open Garden weekend which was a huge success.
Well done Rita! We are very proud that you have been granted this national award from Hospice UK in recognition of all your hard work.
