Lady (Kirsty) Pilkington (Chairman).

Well known within the local community for her fundraising experience and played a pivotal role in helping to raise the money to build the Hospice. As Chairman of the Council of Management she is able to raise the profile of the Hospice and is closely involved in many of the fundraising activities.

Dr Karen Beeby.

A local GP whose medical experience and expertise are an invaluable contribution to the work of the Council of Management.

Mr Alan Chick.

The former Chief Executive of the YMCA in St Helens. His all-round management experience and more recent involvement in the building of new facilities at the YMCA have proved to be extremely beneficial during building expansion work at the Hospice.

Mr Derek Corf (Treasurer).

A retired Accountant from Pilkington plc. His knowledge and experience are key to his role as Treasurer and in overseeing the finances of the organisation.Derek chairs the Finance Sub-Group of the Council of Management.

Mr Peter Lloyd.

Chairman of the Trading Company arm of the Hospice. His accountancy and finance background are a valuable asset to the Fundraising and Trading side of the organisation

Dr Robin Macmillan.

Consultant Anaesthetist and former Medical Director of Whiston Hospital. His medical knowledge and experience, coupled with his previous high profile role within the Hospital Trust, help inform the Trustees on issues within the wider healthcare community.

Mr Geoffrey Slater (Company Secretary).

Retired lawyer from local firm, Barrow&Cook, Solicitors in St Helens. His role is to ensure that Willowbrook is legally compliant in all areas and to provide legal advice as and when necessary.

Mr Gordon Spencer.

Former Director of Procurement&Logistics with British Gas. His background is in Management, Purchasing, Training and HR both regionally and nationally within British Gas. He chairs two of the Sub-Groups of the Council of Management; HR and Estates.

Mr Ken Stringer.

Former Marketing/Sales Director with Pilkington has been involved with the Hospice since the early days , particularly on the fundraising side and is Chairman of the Fundraising Sub-Group of the Council of Management.
