We have vacancies for 6 gardeners to keep the gardens at the Hospice looking good for the benefit of our patients and their families and carers.
Although we have a very special team of medics and nurses to look after our patients, the buildings and gardens also play their part in the care that we deliver. We want the gardens to be an oasis of tranquility and calm. Regrettably we cannot make our patients better but by keeping the gardens in good condition hopefully we can make them and their relatives and carers feel better.
Duties will include weeding, pruning, mowing and planting . You could be an individual or come along in a group. What a great way to keep fit and get some fresh air whilst helping those in need.
Regular maintenance of the garden is essential with each season bringing new challenges.
