Are you familiar with ebay? Do you have good IT skills?
We are looking for a volunteer or a number of volunteers to help manage our ebay 'shop'. We currently receive donated goods through our five charity shops, where we sell a wide variety of very interesting items.
However we regularly receive donations which would command a higher price if they were available to a wider audience. Some of these items maybe collectables, rare records, toys, vintage clothes, bags and shoes, designer brands etc.
Our charity shop only serves it's own locaility whereas the internet has access to the whole world. The role would involve a little bit of research about the item, uploading the text and digital images onto the website so it can be auctioned off to the highest bidder. Then parcelling the item off to the highest bidder once the auction has finished.
