Some patients attend the Hospice for one day each week. These patients attend our Day Therapy Service which is managed by a multi-professional staff team. Our volunteer helpers support this service and help patients to enjoy their day. Duties may include helping to set up equipment, serving light refreshments, chatting, joining in with creative activities, quizzes, etc; serving lunch, clearing away and tidying up.
All relevant training is provided by the Hospice.
