All volunteers working within our kitchen must undertake a Food Hygiene Awareness course which is provided by and held at the Hospice. Volunteer Catering Assistants provide support to kitchen staff and undertake basic food preparation, cleaning, clearing away etc. They also prepare and clear away the dining area.
All appropriate uniform, guidance and training are provided by the Hospice.
