What is ebay?
ebay is a website which enables anyone in the world with access to the internet to bid in an on-line auction for goods through the ebay website.
Should I shop at your charity shops or on ebay?
Why not try both! Many of our supporters live locally and are able to call into one of our
five shops to either donate unwanted goods or shop for a bargain. ebay is becoming a popular way for all our supporters to buy a selection of our 'pre-loved' goods. Either way helps to raise funds to support the Hospice.
Why use ebay?
Although our patients live locally in St Helens or Knowsley, we recognise that families are often dispersed around the country and even the world.
ebay is a way for those supporters living away from the area to have the opportunity to buy a select list of pre loved goods from Willowbrook. We only try to list items on ebay which we feel will have a wider appeal such as collectables, antiques, designer goods etc.
How can I help Willowbrook if I do not live locally?
There is a facilty through ebay for our supporters to sell their preowned goods and donate the proceeds to Willowbrook just as if they were able to use one of our local charity shops.
