An individual donation
In an effort to support the good work of Charities, the government allows charities like Willowbrook Hospice, to reclaim the basic rate of tax that you have already paid on your donation. This means that if you make a donation of £100, you will already have paid £28.21 basic rate of income tax on this money.
By simply making a gift aid declaration, it enables Willowbrook Hospice to reclaim this tax of £28.21. As a result, your donation, is worth £128.21 to us.
All you need to do is to fill in the form below to confirm that you are a tax payer. You only have to complete one Gift Aid form to secure relief on all past donations from April 2000 and any future donations until your tax liability changes. It couldn't be easier. Please let us know if you stop paying tax at the basic rate.
What if I am a 40% taxpayer?
Then that’s even better for you. We can still claim back 22% from the Inland Revenue but by advising the Inland Revenue of the donation you have made to Willowbrook Hospice, you can reclaim an additional 18% tax rebate.
This means that a £100 donation will still be worth £128.21 to Willowbrook Hospice but will only cost you £76.93 after you’ve claimed your tax rebate.
