Fundraising Films
It costs £2m year to run the Hospice. We are part funded by the NHS who make a modest contribution of approximately a third towards our running costs, which means that we have to rely on generous donations from the public and our own fundraising efforts to raise the other two thirds. Qualplas 21st Birthday Fundraiser Local company Qualplas Limited, part of the ST group, celebrated its 21st birthday in style. Andrew Smith the MD of the ST group arranged for the former world snooker champion Steve Davies to call on 10 of the ST Groups local partner's, presenting a magnificent cheque at the end of the day to the Hospice for £5,000 to help with the work that we do in caring for people with life limiting illnesses.
