Hospice Expansion

The Hospice has been awarded a £663,000 Department of Health grant as part of a £950,000 investment into the Hospice to improve our in patient facilities. The scheme will provide two new single bedrooms, a new ward office and various improvements on our two wards.

As part of the expansion plans we will be building a new annex housing a brand new Laundry, patient and carers lounge and a base for a much needed Hospice at Home team.

Since the Hospice was opened 16 years ago, our services have expanded to meet the growing needs of the communities that we serve. Part of the project will involve providing a refurbished kitchen and dining room to support the increasing number of visitors and carers.

Although we have been awarded a fantastic grant towards the project we still need to raise enough money to cover the shortfall and are grateful for the generous support we receive from the people of St Helens and Knowsley.
